In today's art world, we see a lot of abstract works, which is good and has its beauty, but it comes as refreshment to still have some artists following traditional values.
For many years, closely watching Kardy's work, he never stops to amaze me with his poetic paintings, or how he calls them "Poetry in detail". From the name of every one of them, thru strokes of his brushes, and colors that capture the eye, it is easy to see poem after poem, coming to life from some old, almost forgotten times.

His inspiration is hidden from modern world, and high-tech environment, but still holding immense value for people who know and respect their roots. It is almost like removing dust from old pieces of time, and bringing them back to lite and place they deserve.
Kardy's painting is original and different in stile, but have certain resemblance to the works of old impressionists. He uses color in thick, multiple layers which makes paintings almost alive.

This is artist's gift, and if his message gets across to future generations, paintings are going to stay as a seal of time, that needs to be remembered and respected.
